I have spent my lifetime
searching for belonging.

My wanderlust has fueled many traveling adventures around the world; from my home in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, to the United Kingdom and now the United States.

From a young age I was fascinated with the art of story-telling and the magical world of books. I am an empath and a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP), and much of the real world is just too loud for me! Being able to escape into the pages of a good book is balm for my soul. I have carried this love of reading with me throughout my life, it has been my security blanket through many turbulent times.

As I wandered the globe,

searching for belonging and purpose, I felt disconnected in my day-to-day life. I’m a daydreamer, and a believer in the goodness that we all possess. Sobriety was the missing key to unlocking a world in which I finally feel like I belong.

In the early months of my sobriety, I felt a surge of creativity that was present in everything I did. Although I had called myself a writer in the past, for the first time in my life I was actually writing! I am now proud to say that I am working on my memoir and a book of poetry. When I am writing and teaching, I feel as if I am wrapped in a cozy cocoon, sheltered from the outside world, electrified with purpose.

I am creating this writing community for the

truth-seekers, story-tellers and lifelong students. Tender, compassionate, gentle souls who are ready to work through whatever lives in their past. Those who seek to understand themselves and their role in the world, through the experiences that have shaped them. Those who are welcome here, not in spite of, but because of, their struggles and shame.

I want to teach you to tap into your creative energy. To cut through life’s cacophony and find your own vision and voice as a writer. To thrive in your writing practice by writing from a place of deep emotion and empathy.

Thank you for being here. You belong here.

It is my belief that we all inherently belong. Belonging is an internal force that seeks mirrors in its surroundings. My job is to help guide you to a place of understanding your worth so that you can find peace no matter where you are.

What I do

  • the space for you to hear your own voice — there are no rights or wrongs when we are able to reflect from a position of presence.

  • opportunities for one-on-one connection as well as collaborative intimate community.

  • you through the unique and introspective process of developing a creative writing practice that is uniquely yours.

  • the right questions to lead you to the answers that are already within you.

  • you how to explore the tools that will allow you to tap into your full humanity.

  • you navigate to a place of deep inner-knowing - a place where you can reclaim your individual stories and honor your journey.
